To make a change or cancel your order, please contact customer service at 1-800-969-8117 within 24-hours of placing your order. Once your order has been shipped we are unable to cancel or make changes.

If you provide your email address or text number when placing your order, Northwest Expressions will send you a confirmation within 24 hours that will include your order details including your order number. Updates will also be provided when the order ships and when the order is delivered.

Depending upon your choice of delivery, shipping charges are applied to each shipping address that you request your order be shipped to.
Shipping charges vary depending upon the selected delivery method and destination. To ensure your order is in premium quality upon arrival during the warmer months (usually May 1st through September 30th) or when shipping to warm weather areas, we ship our products in insulated shipping containers with ice packs at no extra cost.
Most orders from Northwest Expressions ship within 1-3 business days, depending on your product selection. Due to the perishable nature of our gourmet candy, during the warmer months, we process orders for shipment Monday through Wednesday. This insures that packages have shorter transit times and are not sitting in hot delivery centers over the weekend.
Depending on national temperatures, transit times, and destination, we may be able to ship on Thursdays and Fridays between the months of October and April only.
We ship exclusively with UPS and transit times vary depending on the destination and the temperatures there. Please see the map below for the estimated number of days it takes to ship UPS Ground from Northwest Expressions once it leaves our facility.
During warm months and warmer days throughout the year, we carefully pack your order in a special insulated mini-cooler with frozen cold packs nestled snugly in the packaging to protect the freshness of your gourmet treats.
Temperatures Over 70 Degrees: Chocolate starts to melt at 7 degrees F. When the ship-to destination has the potential to be in the 70’s or higher, your options for shipping will be limited to one or two-day service to ensure the integrity of the chocolate.
Temperatures Over 90 Degrees: When temperatures have reached 90 degrees F or higher at the ship-to destination, your option will be restricted to one day service.
In some areas Saturday delivery is available at an additional charge. Deliveries are scheduled from Tuesday through Friday, excluding carrier service holidays or weather issues. To inquire about a Saturday Delivery in your area, please contact our customer service experts at 1-800-969-8117.
Northwest Expressions is unable to ship products to PO, APO AD or FPO Box Addresses.
A street address with a rural route box, highway or star route can only be accepted with a phone number. We request phone numbers for all gift recipients to ensure delivery of your gift when intended.
Northwest Expressions offers the ability to ship your orders as gifts to single and multiple locations (please call our customer service team at 1-800-969-8117 to arrange shipping to multiple addresses).
When you choose to send yourorder to an address other than your billing address, we will only include a packing slip without any pricing and payment information along with your special note to the gift recipient.
Yes! Every step of the Northwest Expressions online ordering process
that requests credit card information employs secure socket layer (SSL)
encryption, as well as follows Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI Compliance). These two standards insure that your credit card information is unreadable should anyone attempt to intercept it.
Many of our gourmet chocolate products contain nuts, dairy products and some contain soy lecithin which is used in some chocolates as an emulsifier.
Ingredients are noted next to each chocolate description on our web site for your reference when making a selection.
All of our products are created in small batches in a kitchen that also handles peanuts, tree nuts, soy and dairy. We take great care in our handling and packing to avoid cross-contamination to ensure quality and safety.
Those with allergies and sensitivities should not consume these products. Although we realize that this may disappoint some of our customers who suffer from food allergies, the safety and well being of all customers is our top priority.
We recommend enjoying your gourmet confections within a few weeks of receiving them. To experience the full impact of our chocolates and their premium flavors we recommend chocolates be enjoyed and stored at room temperature (65 to 75F).
If saving for a later date, freeze in an airtight container for up to 4 months, to thaw, place the airtight container in the refrigerator for 24 hours before bringing to room temperature, as to avoid condensation. Confections will also keep in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 30 days. For the best tasting experience, bring chocolates to room temperature before enjoying. It is best to store chocolates away from products with strong odors since chocolate can absorb odors.
No. Our gourmet products contain no preservatives and are made from the finest ingredients available, however, many of our products do not contain organic ingredients and therefore are not classified as organic.
